I don’t know anything more than what is on Facebook, but Aimee (@LILWAYNESWORLD on Twitter) has been hospitalized, and according to her family is in the ICU and very sick. They haven’t said what, specifically, is up with her, only that she’ll be there for a while. I stress again that I don’t know anything more than what is on Facebook, but I thought that I would post the information there in case anyone in the Twitterverse wants to send her well wishes.
The hospital has a place where you can send an e-card and they’ll print it out and deliver it to the patient. They’re kinda cheesy but you can access that here. Let her know Twitter loves her! I think it’d be great for her to get a stream of cards from her imaginary friends! Her room number is 3Lenfest78, and her full name is Aimee Newell. You can also use that to send her postal mail, but according to her mom (via Facebook):
She says she doesn’t need packages or flowers - I think what she really needs is for everyone to keep the good wishes, comments & e-mails coming. They really seem to brighten her day ; ) She will be here for a while.
Her mother also posted Aimee’s phone number for text messages, and said to keep the emails coming, so if you know her, want the info, but aren’t Facebook friends with Aimee, you can get in touch with me for it (EffingBoring at the gee-mails, or leave your email for me in the question-answery thinger). I know it’s roundabout but I didn’t get explicit permission from her or her family to give out her contact information, so I wanted to be safe.
We all know that our Twitter family is capable of being a strength to its members in times of trouble, so let’s show Aimee some love! Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested!
