I’d love you and be your catfish
friend and drive such lonely

   at peace,
and ask yourself, “I wonder
if there are any catfish
in this pond? It seems like
a perfect place for them.”

After receiving information that my post about my mother’s health and the multivarious issues surrounding it—a post which was clearly written from the perspective of a daughter who cares deeply for her mom; who is confused and frustrated by the management of the entire situation—were being used in a harmful manner, I have relegated them to ‘private’ status.

My deepest thanks go out to those whose suggestions, offers of sympathy, aid in disseminating information, and similar stories helped me feel less alone and helpless. (Back to it, I guess!)

And to those whose behavior made this necessary, the most inoffensive thing I can think of to say is this: one day, when that agonizing is in the past, it’ll be written of. You’ve clearly chosen how you’ll be portrayed.

Ok in this video I’d have access to a bare concrete basement, a bald-cap, blackface, and whatever else. Like paint and canvases and crap. I mean I have all of that, just reiterating. Here’s the vid:

Jackson Pollock (me) walks over to a ghetto blaster and snaps the play button down. The intro to ‘Make it Clap’ echoes through the room. As he holds his paintbrush aloft, Busta Rhymes (also me) walks through the door, startling Pollock into jerkily spraying paint on the canvas. Busta continues to startle Pollock until the song finishes and then vanishes into thin air.

Cut to: Pollock being awarded a giant “BEST ART” trophy. Camera pans to: Busta way back in the crowd, winking and then POOF! disappears in a cloud of ganja smoke.

Pollock goes pale as the words “IT AIN’T SAFE NO MORE” appear on the enormous canvas behind him.
